Why Choose Bidirectiona
Workshop-level diagnostics without the dealer-level spend
The Bidirectiona BT960 is a full system obd2 scanner uk buyers can rely on for day-to-day fault finding across modern vehicles. Unlike basic code readers that only pull engine-related information, the BT960 accesses major control modules including engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, body, steering, TPMS and more. That means faster diagnosis, fewer missed faults and a better service experience for customers.
Built for modern vehicle coverage
This portable full system obd2 scanner is designed to keep pace with newer platforms thanks to CAN-FD compatibility and FCA AutoAuth support for applicable vehicles. For independent garages and mobile technicians, that is a major advantage when working on newer cars where entry-level tools often fall short. The intuitive touchscreen interface keeps operation straightforward, whether you are checking warning lights, reviewing live data or clearing stored fault codes after repair.
Practical service functions for real workshop jobs
The BT960 includes 13 essential maintenance functions to support common workshop tasks such as oil reset, EPB reset, battery registration, steering angle calibration, DPF regeneration, throttle adaptation and injector coding support where compatible. It is a professional full system obd2 scanner that helps save time on jobs you perform every week, making it ideal both as a main diagnostic unit for smaller garages and as a dependable second tool for busy workshops.
Better value than many competing platforms
Compared with some Autel and Launch alternatives at a similar spend level, the Bidirectiona BT960 focuses on broad vehicle coverage, approachable operation and lower ownership costs. With 2 years of free software updates, UKCA/CE compliant hardware and a compact 1.03 kg handheld design, it offers a strong full system obd2 scanner price-to-performance balance for professionals and serious home users alike.

Customer Reviews
Bought this for my independent garage and it has already paid for itself. The full-system scan picked up an ABS fault and a steering angle issue on a customer car that a cheap reader completely missed.
Delivery was quick and setup was simple. I mainly use the oil reset, EPB and battery registration functions and the touchscreen is much better than older diagnostic units I have used.
I wanted CAN-FD support for newer vehicles coming into the workshop and this scanner has handled them well so far. The live data graphing is clear and fault code reading across modules is fast.
Very capable tool for the money and much more useful than a standard OBD2 reader. My only criticism is that some deeper functions vary by vehicle, so I still double-check compatibility on unusual models.
I was looking at Autel and Launch but chose this because of the 2 years of free updates. For service work and diagnostics on customer cars it gives me what I need without adding subscription costs straight away.
As a mobile mechanic I like the size and weight. It is portable enough to keep in the van and the FCA AutoAuth support was one of the main reasons I bought it, though I would have liked a carry case included.
I use it at home on family cars and for helping friends with warning lights. It is definitely a professional full system obd2 scanner, but the menus are clear enough that an experienced DIY user can get real value from it.
