Future-ready diagnostics for newer vehicles and supported FCA models
Bought this for my independent garage and it has already paid for itself. The full-system scan picked up an ABS fault and a steering angle issue on a customer car that a cheap reader completely missed.
Delivery was quick and setup was simple. I mainly use the oil reset, EPB and battery registration functions and the touchscreen is much better than older diagnostic units I have used.
I wanted CAN-FD support for newer vehicles coming into the workshop and this scanner has handled them well so far. The live data graphing is clear and fault code reading across modules is fast.
Very capable tool for the money and much more useful than a standard OBD2 reader. My only criticism is that some deeper functions vary by vehicle, so I still double-check compatibility on unusual models.
I was looking at Autel and Launch but chose this because of the 2 years of free updates. For service work and diagnostics on customer cars it gives me what I need without adding subscription costs straight away.
As a mobile mechanic I like the size and weight. It is portable enough to keep in the van and the FCA AutoAuth support was one of the main reasons I bought it, though I would have liked a carry case included.

Bidirectiona was created for the realities of the modern UK workshop: tighter margins, more complex vehicles and less time to waste on guesswork. We focus on professional handheld diagnostic tools that give independent garages, mobile technicians and advanced DIY users the capability they need to read faults across multiple vehicle systems, carry out key service functions and work confidently on newer vehicles.
Our approach is simple. We bridge the gap between entry-level readers that only cover basic engine codes and expensive dealer-style systems that can be difficult to justify for smaller businesses. That means practical, workshop-ready diagnostic coverage, FCA AutoAuth support where required, CAN-FD compatibility for newer platforms and update support that keeps ownership costs sensible.
We sell to British direct-to-consumer buyers who value reliable results, clear product information and honest support. Whether you are resetting service lights, checking ABS and airbag faults, registering a new battery or diagnosing an intermittent warning light before an MOT, Bidirectiona is designed to save time in real working conditions.
From our UK-first service approach to our carefully selected diagnostic range, every detail is aimed at helping you work smarter. Our mission is to make advanced vehicle diagnostics more accessible for the independent trade while giving serious home users the confidence to buy professional-level tools without overcomplication.
Our products are designed and supported in the UK, ensuring superior quality and fast tracked delivery from our British warehouse. We offer free UK delivery on all orders, eco-friendly packaging to reduce carbon footprint, and warm, direct customer service. Every order is backed by a generous 30-day returns policy under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — you are always protected.
